NCMA Sacramento Gold Rush offers our members the ability to participate in a number of avenues and programs designed to help advance their leadership and professional development. The 2016/2017 program year is focused on multiple lunch and learn events, National Education Seminar, and networking events. 

 Lunch and Learn

The Sacramento Gold Rush offers members a monthly lunch and learn event the second Thursday of every month. A special RFP/Source Selection Series has been offered to give members a better look at the FAR 15 Procurement Process from start to finish. This series is formatted to give a federal contracting officer best practices and contractors better insight at the contracting process.

National Education Seminar

The Sacramento Gold Rush is offering a March 2017 Seminar on the FAR Essentials. The seminar will be presented by Dr. Rene Rendon, of the Naval Post Graduate Academy and will offer both federal and private contracting professionals an overview of essential FAR parts.

Networking Events

The Sacramento Gold Rush Chapter is planning on holding several networking events for NCMA members to network and learn about contracting in other organizations.
